Whereas table rolling is the most commonly practiced art of manufacturing graphite shafts, the process surfaces two very distinct disadvantages manufacturers invariably compensate for ongoing; static and autoclave curing does not ensure the highest possible measure of consistency with regard to the flow of resin. Controlling the ratio of fiber to resin is especially important in performance reliability.
Resin pooling, voids and fiber “washout” occur when resin coverage is limited. This inhibits fusion of internal flag layers. A controllable yet common occurrence with standard static curing methods. This also exposes precious fibers to unnecessary cutting in the center-less grinding process, conducted post production, necessary to ensure concentricity in the OD (outer diameter) of a table rolled shaft. Center-less grinding occurs in all table rolled shaft construction.
This is the culprit for variences and discrepancies specific to performance and feel, in even the most premium shafts marketed today, that fall within all specification tolerance ranges.
Our proprietary vacuum curing process is catalyst for incomparable consistency between shafts of the same tolerance range. Allowing for homogenous resin to fiber coverage ratio and more precise fiber area weight distribution over the entire shaft. Minimizing resin to maximize fiber performance.
Vacuum curing allows us to incorporate nobel materials in pre-preg sheet form for table rolled construction that shaft manufacturers have all previously struggled to optimize. Utilizing todays most advanced nanotechnology to produce stronger more flexible lightweight shafts, that kick harder and recover faster, as found in all KINETIXx VMT driver shafts. Facility & Testing Measures
To supplement our design and development we employ extensive testing that includes laboratory durability tests, robotic performance testing involving extensive ball flight/trajectory analysis and individual player evaluation. we are one of only two shaft manufacturers in the USA with in house testing capabilities to include a swing programmable robot with three (3) degrees of freedom, able to replicate any type of golf swing at speeds greater than or equal to 135 mph.
Utilizing the newest, state of the art, Trackman doppler radar system to track all aspects of ball flight and trajectory.
Combined with an array of proprietary data acquisition systems, hsv 30,000 fps and laser based speed chronography instrumented fields.

Design & Development
Using state of the art CAD, FEA/FEM software design and transient analysis platforms we generate prototypes for all empirically proven design models. Each model prototype is then analysed by computer for stiffness, strength, vibration control and kinetic energy. Our research and development efforts focus on innovative structural and material technology. Essential to our ongoing cutting edge product development.
